A Z-Lot is a corrupted computer program that is controlled by a higher power such as a virus. They used to be friendly innocent programs, faithful to their Users, but due to corruption they become Z-Lots, and act similar to zombies. They are fairly easy to derezz.
Trivia
The name Z-Lot is similar to the word (although not in pronunciation), "zealot," meaning a person who uncompromisingly abides by a set of ideas. The similarities are not coincidental as the Z-Lots in the game exhibit the same type of behavior as seen in the definition of the word.
