Hi. Yes the "wikia" logo is not supposed to be modified in any way, so it has to stay white. Hopefully it won't mess up any of your other skins too much either.
In terms of the space, that is something that I have only seen on this wiki, so I assumed it is related to creating the skin through css instead of through theme designer. If you have seen it on a wiki which was skinned with the theme designer then it's a bug and it should be reported at Special:Contact. Otherwise it seems to me that it is something with the css not properly recreating the skin elements; if it's not something you put in then it's possibly something left out? I'm not sure as my familiarity with the "new" css is very limited. Perhaps you could ask on the forums to see if anybody has any insight; I know there are other wikis skinned via css that don't have this problem.
Incidentally, the spacing above the wikia bar is also a few pixels off -- there should be a few pixels of "page" above the border of the bar which you don't have. Although I only really noticed that because I was flipping between this and a theme-designer wiki to see how the top should look :). -- Wendy (talk) 03:01, November 12, 2010 (UTC)
