I've come to the conclusion that the ending of Tron: Legacy is like watching Star Wars when the crew of the Millenium Falcon swat away TIE Fighters after the Death Star escape... then the story ends there. No Battle of Yavin.
Wouldn't it have been cooler if both Clu 2 and Rinzler had made it to the portal, allowing for an epic martial arts conflict between Rinzler, and Sam and Quorra? I just feel that a high-energy climactic fight could have made a much better coda to the Solar Sailer journey than just the Light Jet dogfight alone.
