Incorrect Commercial

I recently saw a commercial promoting TRON: Uprising on Disney XD's YouTube channel. I have to say I thought the commercial was a little annoying and cheesy. It shows two kids at a diner talking about the awesome vehicles in TRON: Uprising. They show an image of a (Light Copter) and the kid calls it a Light Chopper!!!! It was confirmed on Disney XD's website that the helicopter is called a (Light Copter). They also show a picture of the (Rough Terrain Light Cycle) which they call a LIGHT CRAWLER!!!!! We don't know the exact name for the (Rough Terrain Light Cycle) yet, but we do know that the ATV that Beck finds is called a (Light Crawler). This was confirmed in a magazine article about animation. THE ONLY VEHCILE THAT THEY NAMED RIGHT WAS THE LIGHT CYCLE, WHICH IS PRETTY OBVIOUS!!!!! Unamed Vehicles (PAY FULL ATTENTION!)

In the first episode of TRON: Uprising called Beck's Beginning we already get many views of new vehicles in the TRON universe. Most of the unamed new vehicles are seen in Able's garage. There are also some crashed/abandoned vehicles we see in a junkyard in the Outlands. I wrote this article to show people on this wiki the vehicles to look for in the show. We may learn the names of these vehicles later on or they may nevert be mentioned. PAY FULL ATTENTION TO THESE VEHICLES THROUGHOUT THE SERIES SO THE NAMES CAN BE IDENTIFIED.

The first full episode of TRON: Uprising called Beck's Beginning is now on Disney XD's YouTube channel! The first episode will also be available to download for free on iTunes on May 14th, 2012 (tommorrow). Beck's Beginning is also scheduled to air on Disney XD on May 18th, 2012 (this Friday). Directly following the linear premiere, Disney X D.com will launch a new interactive video and gaming activity that invites users to immerse themselves in the world of TRON; the special will be split down into 10 micro-episodes in which users take on the role of Beck and help him fight to become the next hero of The Grid.

(9:00 p.m., ET/PT) - "TRON: Uprising" Series Premiere on Disney X D
In the premiere episode, "The Renegade Part 1," Beck's training with Tron is interrupted when he's captured by a Recognizer patrol and sent to the Coliseum to fight in the games. There Beck meets a fellow prisoner Cutler, a fierce warrior program who has been inspired by The Renegade's actions. Recharged by their shared passion for freedom, Beck and Cutler fight their way out of the deadly disc games. Meanwhile, Zed and Mara head out for night on the town, but run into trouble when an enchanted Zed is lured away by Perl (voiced by Kate Mara), a program from the wrong side of the tracks.

Directly following the premiere on air, "The Renegade Part 2" will be available on Disney X D.com, along with a new game, "Renegade Strike," where users take on the identity of The Renegade and defend The Grid from Clu and General Tesler.

Friday, June 8
Following the premiere, "TRON: Uprising" will be showcased via Disney X D on Demand, Disney X D.com, Disney X D Mobile, Sony Playstation, Xbox Live and iTunes.

MAJOR differences in TRON: Uprising

Just by looking at the footage for the upcoming animated series, TRON: Uprising I can find some MAJOR changes in animation and scenery. Here are some photos that compare the original footage from the teaser to the recently seen tv ads:

1. A new Light Cycle design by Daniel Simon is replaced by the 5th Generation Light Cycle design from TRON: Legacy.

2. Beck's Light Cycle is a different shade of blue and the two Light Cycle opponents appear to be red instead of the original yellow color from the first teaser trailer.

3. The city is more of a green color than a light blue color.

I'm going to be honest with you. I found the original teaser footage a lot better looking than the footage shown in the recent tv spots. The animation looked a lot more clear so that it stood out. I don't really like the GGI faces as much as the normal style. But it is cool to see a new Light Cycle design by Daniel Simon. (I still prefer the 5th gen Light Cycle!)

RINZLER IS BACK!!!

In recent tv ads and trailers for TRON: Uprising we get a look at Beck fighting against someone that appears to be very simmilar to Rinzler. In the trailer you can hear a rough sounding Rinzler (voiced by Bruce B.) ask Beck "You're not afraid?" Beck responds by simply saying "No" then Rinzler says "You should be" This new tv series just might end up being canon!

Who in the heck put derezzed under status on the Rinzler page?!!!! At the end of TRON: Legacy you can tell he is not dead because his lights change back to normal. I just want to say that whoever put derezzed under Rinzler's aka Tron's status is a complete IDIOT!

What does M mean?

So before Tron: Legacy came out I was always wondering what the M logo on the bridge to Tron City meant. I first saw it when it showed a picture of your program that you can create on the official TRON website. At first I thought it was shortened for MCP. But Master Control Program wasn't even in Legacy!!!! I saw it again on this concept art:

Should we add Creatures under TRON Universe.

In the Tron series there have been numorous creatures such as Gridbugs , Infected Programs, monsters, etc. There might be more creatures to be discovered in the TRON universe later on. I believe this category would fit in well with other categories such as vehicles, weapons, characters, and places because it is another element of the TRON universe. Please place your opinion about this subject in the comments below.

This vehicle was seen in the scene where Sam is looking down at the rectifier in Tron legacy. You can see a car-like vehicle on the left of the three man light jet. I have no clue what this vehicle is called or what it can do. PLEASE CONTACT ME OR MAKE ANOTHER COMMENT OR BLOG TO TELL ME WHAT THIS UNKNOWN VEHICLE IS.
