I believe that Uprising is canon as long as Tron becomes Rinzler. The episode "Scars" could give the origin of Rinzler considering that in the trailer Tron goes after Dyson (his friend who betrayed him) and uses a red disc with his original like in "Tron Legacy". The trailer also shows Tron in some form of cylindrical case surrounded by Black Guards in the same kinds of cases. This might mean Tron gets captured in his search for revenge and becomes repurposed and turned into Rinzler.
