In the graphic novel TRON: The Ghost in the Machine, conscript programs are transported through vehicles stationed on the ground. These Transit Units are associated with Military Programs. They can hold many programs and are capable of hovering above the ground. The conscript programs were forced to become Military Programs and they were transported to the MCP stronghold. Jet Bradley was aboard a Transit Unit and was attacked by the MCP's forces. He was the only one that survived the attack and continued to fight against the MCP.
