Has anyone else noticed that the disks in the Tron 2.0 game had the Triforce from Legend of Zelda on them?

On a side note, Identity Disks appear in Kingdom Hearts II ; and I'd like to link to the page... shall I do so ? Sulu mata engkudu ! 03:37, March 21, 2010 (UTC)

Identity Disk/ Light Disc Merge?[]

As Light discs and Identity Disks are the same thing.... should they not be merged into one page? it would make much more sense, because these two pages will just end up with the same information. Lynksis 22:48, October 29, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, definitely merge. The movie site states "Identity Disc" as the appropriate title. -- WarBlade 09:59, November 6, 2010 (UTC)

Sark Quote[]

I noticed the quote used by Sark was changed, can this change be verified. This may have been done because it sounded better, but remember a quote is a quote, and should not be changed. Lynksis 08:10, November 6, 2010 (UTC)

The page currently has the quote attributed to "Sark telling Sam..." Sark was only in the first movie. Sam is only in the second movie, so clearly Sark never told Sam anything. Perhaps it should read "Sark telling Kevin..."? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.22.110.54 (talkcontribs)

If you watched Tron legacy. The person that gave the disk to Sam said EXACTLY the same thing. It's assumed that her name was Sark. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AznPride112 (talkcontribs)
no,thats gem using sark's quote —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.136.253.77‎ (talkcontribs)

Identity Disk --> Identity Disc[]

How would people feel about having the article title changed from "Identity Disk" to "Identity Disc"? Disc with a "c" is the name presented by all official TRON-related media that I've seen lately, but this wiki has been publishing the marginally different noun for a long time now. I'm curious to see if there are any (or many) voices wanting to stay with the incorrect word over the officially recognised noun? -- WarBlade 04:25, January 18, 2011 (UTC)

I feel he same way, I've been waiting for someone to notice the incorrect use of the 'K' instead of the 'C'. If your going to change to title you've got my support. AccountProgram 07:10, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
It depends on what spelling you want to use. In Australia disc/disk is spelled with a C. I just spell it as disk though.AznPride112 09:25, January 18, 2011 (UTC)
After two days without much feedback, it has been proposed, seconded, and remains unopposed. It will be easiest to integrate this change with the Tron to TRON updates, so I'll get right on it. -- WarBlade 20:33, January 20, 2011 (UTC)

Sharing Discs[]

what if someone/something using another program identity disc, will it be somewhat corrrupted or overcopied or something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 118.136.253.77‎ (talkcontribs)

You mean like how Sam used Kevin's identity disc ? Everyone's disc contains THEIR information about them. That's why Clu wanted to steal Keivn's disc because it had everything on that dis. The information on the disc remains there forever most likely. AznPride112 12:09, March 17, 2011 (UTC)
On the one hand, once a disc is mirrored and synched with a program, it apparently remains uniquely linked to that program; witness Kevin and Quorra wearing each others' discs to no ill effect towards the end of "Legacy". On the other, as shown in the flashback, Tron grabbed the disc of one of Clu's Black Guards before derezzing him, acquiring a 2nd disc; the disc did not go dark once its owner was killed. In this case, the disc has indeed been altered in some way. Fredmdbud 05:44, May 11, 2011 (UTC)

"The leading edge of an identity disc does nothing to harm its owner and can be readily caught, even when travelling at very high speeds."[]

Isn't this contradicted in the movie, when Sam deflects his second opponent's disc back at him? Fredmdbud 05:24, May 11, 2011 (UTC)

It is most likely talking about the first movie, TRON 2.0 and TRON: Evolution. In TRON: Legacy, this is not true. Colmyo 19:59, May 27, 2012 (UTC) Colmyo

I think it goes like this: Any disc can be caught and used by any program - and any disc can derez any program. Jeyo 05:16, May 29, 2012 (UTC)
