You GOTTA Love Beck![]
Beck is one of the greatest Disney characters of all time! He is strong: both physically and mentally, and is the embodiment of The Walt Disney company's habit of not being afraid, just keep going on. One of my greatest fears is that Beck will get derezzed or repurposed. And Clu apparently wants both!
I've been doing some research, and it turns out that the character designer on Tron: Uprising also worked on a television show (also from Disney) called "Motorcity"! That means that Beck and Mike Chiltion (the main protagonist of Motorcity) are cousins!
Beck reminds me of many characters: Optimus Prime from Transformers, Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender and Korra from Avatar: The Last Airbender's spin-off The Legend of Korra, and Mike Chiltion from Motorcity. Many characters may have inspired Beck, but I think Aang and Optimus may have helped out A LOT.
But of course, many programs have began to fear this program since the episode "Price of Power", thinking that he's some kind of monster. Since "Price of Power" aired, Tron: Uprising has became a ticking time bomb, getting more and more intense with every passing episode, and the episode "No Bounds" was when the bomb when off! I'm glad that everyone realized that Beck couldn't fight the occupation on his own!
Beck appears to be in his 20's. That or he's 32 years old, like the man who voices him or he might be 17 years old. I wonder if Sam Flynn is his user?
Regardless of age or user: Isn't he just the cutest program you ever saw? He's just the most lovable, friendly, and adorable program ever made!
