Plot

Beck's night out with with Mara and Zed does not go as well as he'd planned. General Tesler advertises that if the Renegade's identity is revealed and the Renegade is captured, Argon City's curfews would be lifted and a snazzy Light Roadster would be given to whoever turns the Renegade in. The Occupation begins the hunt, with programs all over Argon City falsely accusing each other of being the Renegade. Meanwhile, Pavel persuades a program named Korn to edit false information into Hopper's disc, framing him as the Renegade in a secret bid to embarrass Tesler. Zed and Mara attempt to help Paige prove that Pavel is up to something, but are arrested as well. With the "traitors" about to be drawn and quartered in a public spectacle, Beck races time to save his friends.
