Summary
As he struggles against his shifting memories and the malevolent apparition of a rabbit named Clarence, Jet Bradley orders the Blue Army to distract the forces of the Master Control Program with a frontal assault. During the battle, Jet employs his abilities as a user to allow Mercury and himself to slip behind enemy lines. Attempting to halt the coming confrontation between Jet and the MCP, Clarence invades Jet's mind, and before Jet can reject the mental intrusion, Mercury is killed. As planned, Jet encodes his identity disc with the Tron Legacy Code, a piece of programming that has been integrated into his subroutines and supposedly capable of ending the threat of the MCP. Unfortunately, Jet's attempt to use the code is derailed by the mysterious appearance of another Jet Bradley...
