History[]
The Nervous Program was one of seven programs captured by Sentries and was being transported in a Recognizer when the craft descended to the street to pick up an eighth captive, Sam Flynn. Throughout the rest of the trip, he repeatedly muttered the words, "Not the games! Not the games!" until the Recognizer set down near the Game Arena.
Facing judgment from another Sentry in charge of receiving the captives, the Nervous Program found himself assigned to exactly what he feared the most: the games. Panicking, he broke free of his captors and screaming, "Erase me!" hurled himself off the edge of the Grid platform into the waiting blades of a giant fan-like construct below and promptly derezzed.[1]
