Tron 2 News

  • TRON 2 may be released in 2010, one year earlier than expected.
  • Two British actors may have joined the cast of Tron 2. James Frain and Michael Sheen (unconfirmed). James Frain confirmed in an interview that he'll be playing a character. Michael Sheen hinted in his Twitter blog that he had been cast in a “mystery film” that he wasn’t allowed to “talk about yet”, that the character he would be playing wasn't really a person at all, and that hinted that he would be a villain. He also mentioned that he was heading to Vancouver to film some scenes.

Tron Universe

Set in the present, The Tron Universe has humanoid computer programs inside a computer world, where human Users can interact with these programs through human digitization. It is in this universe where the Tron film, Tron 2.0 and Tron 2.0 comic books take place. The Universe is named after the computer program, Tron, who saved a computer system (and the real world) from a mad computer program known as the MCP. read more...
