The 3rd generation light cycle was the last light cycle design to have a canopy. It looks similar to a 2nd generation light cycle, but with a more streamlined design similar to that of the 4th generation and 5th generation light cycles. It only appears in the PlayStation Portable version of TRON: Evolution, and in concept art for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows version of the game.
