History[]
Welcome Home[]
Lenz was an engineer on the ill-fated light rail train taken by Keller in her attempt to escape Argon City. Lenz and Ott came upon a disguised Keller and ask him for his ticket switch he saw and then left. When the train was damaged, Lenz and another engineer, Ott, decided to abandon it by evacuating in a small escape pod. They climbed to the top of the speeding train, using magnetic clamps to make their way over the rail cars to the escape pod. Ott, following Lenz, was derezzed as he tried to stop Keller from following them and failed to see a low-roofed oncoming tunnel.
Lenz, who had seen the tunnel in time, ducked and survived to continue along the top of the train, followed by Keller, who had appropriated the magnetic clamps Ott had left behind. Upon arriving at the escape pod, Lenz selfishly locked Keller out of it and launched it on his own, quipping "Employees only", as he took what seemed next episode, to be the only avenue of escape from the speeding train. However, the pod flew directly into the path of a train speeding in the other direction, and both the pod and its unlucky occupant were instantly derezzed.
Trivia[]
- Lenz's voice actor, Matt Jones, would later voice Erg in the next episode, Rendezvous.
