Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, also simply known as Kingdom Hearts 3D, is a video game developed by Square Enix and published by Square Enix and Disney Interactive Studios. It was released for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on March 29th, 2012. It will be released in Europe on July 20th, 2012, in Australia on July 26th, 2012 and in America on July 31st, 2012.

The GridEdit

As said by Joshua, there are 2 versions of each world. Sora is in one while Riku is in the other. Though they are 2 versions each world has the same events take place but have some the other doesn't (example: Riku decides to go with the guards (seeing how it goes) in which they force him to do a race while Sora runs away from the guards). Another difference is that the guards as belive Sora is "a rouge program" when he says his name while they automatically know Riku is "another stray". Also Sora and Riku's clothes change to fit the style of some worlds such as the grid.

SoraEdit

Sora starts out near a strange vessel, he then decides to follow it. In Sora's version of the story he meets some guards who try to capture him but he escapes. Though he escapes Rinzler tracks him down but after hearing a communication retreats. He then runs into Kevin, Sam and Quorra who explain that TRON was changed into Rinzler by CLU. Kevin then says that a back up disc of TRON's memories is being held by Clu, so Sora has Quorra guide him.

However once they get there they realize that it is not there and they are then attacked by Rinzler. Sora tries to tell him that he is really TRON but he fails and Rinzler attacks. Quorra then attempts to attack TRON but fails and the door is closed on Sora before he can get to Rinzler and Quorra. Sora then (after having a conversation with Xemnas and Young Xehanort ) goes after them.

He then comes to an arena like room where Clu appears. He then request that he have the keyblade, and will in turn restore TRON. Sora says to himself that he can't give him the blade and refuses which makes Clu make Rinzler take it by force. Though he refuses to fight him at first Quorra then appears on the outside of the arena and says that back when Rinzler attacked them that Sora was able to make it through to Rinzler and this gave her enough time to escape. She then says that the Key Blade will knock him back to his senses, in which starts the battle. After the battle he walks up to a defeated Rinzler and attempts to bring back TRON. He is then nearly hit by a projectile from Clu but Rinzler deflects it and in bounces off the walls and then makes a hole under him causing him to fall. Rinzler attempts to reach for Sora's hand but falls. Clu says he will deal with Sora later, saying he has to go retrieve Rinzler. After a talk with Quorra Sora leaves.

RikuEdit

When Riku comes to the Grid, he is met by Guards and he decides to go with them (seeing how it goes). On the vessel he meets Sam asking if he is a prisoner, Riku then answers "looks that way". He is then brought to an arena where he must race other black guards and take them out. He is then met by a Dream Eater on the track but he defeats it. After that he blast a hole through the wall and escapes.

After he escapes he meets up with Sam and he says he knows a way off the Grid buy Riku refuses to go with him and then asks for the way out. Sam then explains the portal and how to escape (after he explains what happened to his dad he ask to go with him after all) but he says he has a contact in the city that he needs to talk to, so Riku decides to help him. While in the city he tells Riku to kill some time while he gets back (in which after a while he is attacked by Dream Eaters). After he defeats them he hears a strange noise from where Sam went so he goes to investigate. He then finds Sam and Kevin (Sam is also shown carrying a deactivated Quorra) he then goes with them to get a Solar Sailer.
