The Half Faced Man was one of seven programs captured by Sentries and was being transported in a Recognizer when the craft descended to the street to pick up an eighth captive, Sam Flynn. Sam looked past this program and inquired about another prisoner who was repeatedly muttering incoherently. The Half Faced Man looked up, revealing his damaged face and replied with only an inhuman-sounding growl, giving Sam another strong indication that he had been plunged into a very alien situation.
