Ada is a character in TRON: Uprising, voiced by Parminder Nagra. She is a female ISO and a friend of Quorra.

History[]

Isolated[]

Ada full shot

Following the Purge a few ISOs managed to escape their genocide and survived as fugitives. Ada and Quorra had been on the run for some time when Ada was critically injured and rendered unconscious. A group of other programs had surrounded the pair when Paige chanced upon the scene and helped the ISOs escape. Paige nursed Ada back to health, and she soon listened to Paige's musical talents, which she had commented that Paige may have fooled her into thinking she was written for music.

While Quorra attempted to teach Paige how to knock someone dow in a single move, Ada noticed her ISO symbol exposed and tried to signal to her about it, Paige saw the symbol as well, and was angry at the two. Ada attempted to intervene with Paige as she tried to alert the patrol, but was stopped by Quorra who attempted to reason with her. Paige's friends betrayed the fugitives, forcing Ada and Quorra to flee once more, before they fled however, they approached Paige for the last time as Quorra lamented the fact she'll never hear Paige play again, Quorra knocked Paige out upon seeing multiple Recognizers however, confusing Ada enough to ask Quorra why she knocked Paige out, as she'll never trust ISOs from now on. In response, Quorra replied to Ada saying "at least she'll be alive."

Other appearances[]

TRON RUN/r[]

Ada appears as a playable character in TRON RUN/r, like all characters in this game, her circuitry is interchangeable.

Trivia[]

  • Ada speaks with a light accent, similar to an Australian one; to date, this accent has been heard only from her.
  • It is likely that her name was taken from Ada Lovelace, whom some consider the first computer programmer.
  • In ElecTRONica, a program named Ada stood in for Eckert on one occasion. However, she resembled Eckert and did not appear related to Quorra's friend.
  • The name Ada was later reused for another female program in the video game, TRON: Identity.
